Quincy Square: A Rhythmic Revival in the Heart of Bremerton
At Tournesol, we believe in the power of public spaces to tell stories, inspire connection, and reflect the communities they serve. That’s why we are especially proud to have played a role in the transformation of Quincy Square in Bremerton, Washington—a project that does all this and more.
Unveiled with a vibrant two-day festival on July 12th and 13th, Quincy Square’s grand opening was more than just a celebration of a completed streetscape, it was the joyful crescendo of a decade-long vision. Named in honor of legendary music producer and Bremerton native Quincy Jones, the project revives a block of Fourth Street into a flexible, music-themed public plaza that honors Jones’ legacy and the city’s Black history.
Tournesol was honored to contribute to this one-of-a-kind project with the installation of 18 Rune Collection Backless Benches and 6 Loop Collection Bicycle Racks. The Rune benches, sleek, modern, and adaptable, complement the square’s musical theme, while the Loop racks offer functionality with a creative flair. Together, they help create a welcoming, comfortable space where people can relax, gather, and reflect.
Community Spirit in Motion
This project is the result of a collaboration between the City of Bremerton, the dedicated team at ACTIVE Construction, Inc., and local community leaders. Designed for performances, festivals, and everyday enjoyment, Quincy Square stands as a testament to civic vision and cultural pride. We’re proud to have played a role in shaping this meaningful place, where art, history, and community meet.
