Greenscreen® Makes an Entrance in Madison Square

New York, NY

28 East 28th Street, also known as 63 Madison Avenue, is a prominent 15-story office building situated in Manhattan’s NoMad neighborhood, just steps from Madison Square Park. MPFP Landscape Architecture | Urban Design partnered with George Comfort & Sons and crafted thoughtfully designed entrances on both 27th and 28th Streets featuring two vibrant green facades with Tournesol’s Greenscreen® Wall Mounted Trellis, creating a calm and inviting retreat from the city’s energy.

The Greenscreen walls add visual interest but also contribute to the sustainability and environmental responsibility of the project, aligning with modern architectural trends. Our system of trellis panels and accessories is designed to protect building surfaces and support the weight and growth of vines. Panels form the structural backbone of the green facade, supporting a lush display of climbing vines planted in the earth below. Along with the installation of the trellis panels, Blondie’s Treehouse expertly handled the vines, bringing a lively natural presence that welcomes tenants and visitors with a blend of urban sophistication and natural elements.
