JOEY Restaurant, Elevated Ambiance Through Living Design

At JOEY Restaurant Valley Fair, a bold, two-story destination in Santa Clara, CA, the dining experience is elevated at every level, blending global culinary energy with a refined, design-forward atmosphere. Conceived by the JOEY Design Team in collaboration with Shamut Design & Construction and Peregrine, the space unfolds through a striking stone-clad staircase into a vibrant rooftop terrace, where architecture and greenery work in harmony to create an environment that feels both expansive and intimate. 

Here, guests move seamlessly from sushi to steaks to indulgent pastas, all within a setting defined by clean lines, layered materials, and lush planted elements that soften and elevate the experience. On the rooftop patio, a chic, high-energy backdrop is further enriched by Tournesol’s Greenscreen® trellis system, seamlessly integrated into the JOEY team’s design. Custom-configured, powder-coated metal panels introduce vertical greenery that subtly defines dining zones and enhances privacy without compromising light or airflow, while signature hospitality reinforces JOEY’s reputation for effortless luxury. As the landscape matures, the trellises bring added depth, texture, and a dynamic living presence to the space.
